Micro credit

Micro credit is the practice of extending small amounts of credit to the working poor, most often for the purpose income generating employment. A micro credit loan is quite literally small loan, from $50 to $150, depending on the geographical location. 2005 was designated by the General Assembly of the United Nations as the international year of Micro credit.
